QuickJack, An Easier Way to Lift

QuickJack handles the lifting and safe-keeping of your vehicle with the simple push of a button, and there are no crossbeams on the ground to get in your way. Each of the two frames feature automatic locking bars that are essentially "jack stands" built right into the sides.

If you’re ready for a better way to perform oil changes, tire swaps, auto detailing and virtually every job you used to do with jacks and stands, you need QuickJack.

Our QuickJack Recommendations

QuickJack 8000TLX

For Most Cars

Our top pick for maximum versatility. The 8000TLX handles most trucks and SUVs with ease, yet still slides under performance cars like the E93 M3, GT4RS, Ford Ranger Raptor. This is the go-to QuickJack if you’re working on a variety of vehicles, whether it’s your weekend track car or your daily F-150 Raptor.

QuickJack 6000ELX

For EVs & Long Cars

If your vehicle has far-apart jack points, this is the one. The 6000ELX is made for long sedans like the Tesla Model S, BMW G80 M3, M340Xi, 540i. That extended length of the 6000ELX bridges the distance without needing sketchy extensions or positioning tricks. It’s the proper tool for vehicles with longer jacking points.

QuickJack 3500SLX

For Small Cars

Perfect for compact cars and smaller machines. The 3500SLX is lightweight, quick to set up, and ideal for vehicles like Miatas, smaller Fiats, classic roadsters or even UTVs. If garage space is tight and your fleet is small, this is all you need. We don't recommend this unless you have those very specific requirements.

What is a QuickJack?

QuickJack is a portable car lift system created by BendPak that allows you to raise your vehicle quickly, safely, and easily. It’s designed for home garages, detailers, racers, and DIYers who want a compact lifting solution without the need for a full scissor or two-post lift.

Which QuickJack model should I buy?

We’ve tested every QuickJack model ourselves to figure out exactly which ones are worth using. It comes down to your vehicle’s weight and jack point spread:

  • QuickJack 8000TLX - Our top pick for maximum versatility.
  • QuickJack 6000ELX - Built for vehicles with wider jack points like BMW sedans and Teslas.
  • QuickJack 3500SLX - Perfect for small cars like Miatas, UTVs, and other lightweight vehicles.

Use our QuickJack Measuring Guide to choose the right model.

Is QuickJack safe to use?

Yes. Each QuickJack locks into place with automatic safety bars once raised. It meets strict ANSI, ALI, and CE safety standards and is trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.

QuickJack is engineered with automatic safety locks, overload protection, and rigorous testing. With budget lifts? You're the test.

QuickJack is designed, built, and stress-tested by the same team that supplies commercial-grade lifts worldwide. Precision welds, clean hydraulics, and quality control aren’t negotiable—they’re standard.

Is There a proper way to put my vehicle on a QuickJack?

Yes!

1. Why is vehicle positioning on QuickJack important?

Proper positioning ensures a safe and stable lift. Incorrect positioning — especially with front-heavy vehicles — can lead to instability or equipment damage.

2. Which end of the car should go on which part of the QuickJack?

If your vehicle is front-engine, the heavier front end should sit on the shelf side of the QuickJack frame — the side with the safety lock bar.

✅ This helps counterbalance the weight and prevent tipping during the lift.

3. What happens if I position it backward?

If the engine (heavy end) is placed on the cantilevered side of the lift:

❌ The weight exaggerates the leverage on the frame, creating a risk of instability or tipping.

This setup is unsafe and should be corrected before lifting.

4. How do I identify the “shelf side” of the QuickJack?

Look for the side with the safety lock bar — that’s the shelf side where the heavier end of the vehicle (typically the engine) should be placed. View this image for a better understanding.

5. Does this apply to all vehicles?

This general rule applies to most front-engine vehicles. For rear-engine or mid-engine cars, consult the owner’s manual or reach out to QuickJack support for the correct lift orientation.

6. What else should I check before lifting?

  • Confirm jack points align with the rubber blocks
  • Confirm the QuickJacks are perfectly parallel with each other.
  • Ensure flat, level ground

Can I use QuickJack on gravel or uneven surfaces?

No. QuickJack should only be used on flat, solid surfaces like concrete. Using it on gravel, dirt, or uneven surfaces is not safe and can cause the lift to shift or fail.

Can I leave my car on a QuickJack for an extended period?

Yes, your car can be left on them as long as you want, if it is engaged on a locking position. Once your QuickJack is engaged on a locking position, gravity holds it in place; a loss of power or leaking Hydraulic Fluid would not cause the QuickJack to lower.

Does QuickJack work on lifted vehicles?

It depends on your vehicle’s frame height. If the jack points are too high, you may need to use ramps to help raise the vehicle into QuickJack’s lifting range. Keep in mind the max lifting height and lifting block height.

How much weight can QuickJack hold?

It depends on the model:

  • 3500SLX – 3,500 lbs
  • 6000TL / 6000TLX / 6000ELX – 6,000 lbs
  • 8000TL / 8000TLX – 8,000 lbs

Always stay under the rated capacity for your model.

Does QuickJack need to be bolted down or installed?

Nope. That’s the beauty of it. QuickJack is completely portable and doesn’t require any permanent installation. Set it on the ground, connect the hoses, and you’re ready to lift.

Can I use QuickJack for detailing or oil changes?

Absolutely. This is one of the most common uses. It gives you full access to the wheels and undercarriage without a crossbar blocking your way.

Is QuickJack compatible with electric vehicles (EVs)?

Yes. In fact, the 6000ELX is ideal for long-wheelbase EVs like the Tesla Model S. Just be sure to check your jack point spread.

What so I need to supply when buying a QuickJack?

1. Do QuickJacks come ready to use out of the box?

Not completely. While QuickJacks come mostly assembled, there are a few things you’ll need to provide to get up and running safely.

2. What type of hydraulic fluid do I need?

You’ll need to supply ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) - we recommend Dexron III or equivalent.

• Each QuickJack model typically requires 2 to 3 quarts, but double-check your model’s manual for exact requirements.

• Do not use brake fluid, motor oil, or power steering fluid — these can damage the seals and void your warranty.

3. What kind of power source do I need?

That depends on the power unit you choose:
• 110V AC Power Unit – Requires a standard grounded wall outlet.

• 12V DC Power Unit – Connects to a car battery (comes with alligator clamps). Great for portability or trackside use.

4. Do I need tools to assemble anything?

Yes, you’ll need:

• A funnel for pouring ATF into the reservoir

• A wrench or adjustable spanner to tighten hydraulic fittings

• Possibly thread sealant or PTFE tape for leak-free connections (some fittings may come pre-treated)

5. Do I need jack pads or rubber blocks?

Yes, each QuickJack includes rubber blocks, but depending on your vehicle, you might want to supply your own low-profile or extended-height blocks for better compatibility.

6. Do I need any special fittings or adapters?

Nope, all standard hydraulic fittings are included with the QuickJack system. If you’re using accessories like a T-connector or wall-mount setup, additional fittings may be required.

7. Anything else I should prepare before setup?

Make sure:

• Your garage floor or surface is level and stable

• You have enough clear space around your vehicle

• You’ve read the owner’s manual and safety instructions before first use

Can I drive on the QuickJack frames?

A Vehicle can be above your QuickJack Frames (this is normal operation, in fact), but do not drive a Vehicle on the QuickJack Frames or the Hydraulic Hoses; this damages them.
